Bentley
Bentley was attacked by another dog that nearly ripped his rear end off. He has already had 2 major reconstructive surgeries and may still have to have more depending how he heals. Here are some photos of his injuries and his reconstructive surgery.
This photo was taken after the attack and the damaged skin had to be excised
The skin was pulled off the attachments as well as one of the thigh muscles. The wound was closed, but the skin was too damaged and the tail was broken which required another extensive surgery a week later to try to close the wound. (Click on photos to enlarge)
Pre-op photo
Bentley's tail was amputated as well as his thigh muscle and skin was stretched to cover the defect.
